George Edward Mason, Jr. (56) of Kingston, New York entered into eternal rest, suddenly on Monday, July 10. 2023 at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY.  George was affectionately known as "Mook" to most and "Moot" to some.  He was born on February 22, 1967 in Kingston, New York to the late George Edward Mason, Sr. (Mook, Sr.) and Christine Allen Mason.

Mook attended and graduated from the Kingston City School District.  From there he went on to work for United Parcel Service then for many years at Grand Union/Hannaford where he held the position of Supervisor until health issues caused him to retire.

Mook loved life and he surely loved detailing his vehicle. He would put such a shine on it that when you looked at it, you could clearly see your reflection! In his younger years he wouldn't hesitate to hop into his immaculate ride and drive to Skippers, VA to visit his grandmother, aunts and uncles. Mook often attended BMX racing events and Monster Car Shows.  He was an avid sports fan with his favorite teams being the Yankees, Cowboys and the Knicks.  Those close to him can also attest to how passionate he was about the WWF & Nascar.  Mook was a responsible, caring soul who had strong opinions on many things and didn't hesitate to express them.  Having lost his dad in 1975, Mook became the man of the house at a very young age.  He truly loved and looked out for his mother and his sister, Sue.  He also enjoyed spending time with "the grandchildren" who lit up his life.

(George) Mook leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Christine Allen Mason and his sister, Donna Sue Mason both of Kingston, NY; his former companion's children with whom he had a special bond, Mike Binns (Kristin), Rickey Dutcher-Cole, Rayisha Evans, Mary Bolde (Manny), Callin LeMon (Angel) and their children, Daysha, Aeriana, Christian, Michael, Jeramyah, Haydn, Camryn and Zandrea.  He also leaves his aunts, Donna Michelle, Donna Sue Mason Parham (Ronnie), Virginia Mason "Newly" and uncles,  James Mason (Joyce) and Roy "Buck" Mason (Pam); his goddaughter, Darrene' Zanolini, close family friend Marlene Freeman and a host of cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by his companion of almost 29 years, Annette "Mousie" Cole-LeMon; His maternal grandparents, Matthew and Della Allen; paternal grandparents, George and Minnie Mason and uncles Amos Allen, Nathaniel Royal, Johnny Mason,
