George Conrad Rominger , 74, of Bloomington passed away with family at his side on January 14, 2026 at Health Alliance Hospital. Born September 25, 1951, he was the son of the late George and Margaret (Wonsor) Rominger.

George loved watching the USA channel and Wrestling on television and had a particular fondness for Elvis Presley.

George is survived by his life partner Bonnie Shaver, his son Shane Rominger and his step-daughter Alisha Borozny and her husband Chris Tompkins. Sisters Carol Gangee and Joan McNamee, grandchildren Shelby Rominger and Sheridan Rominger, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

In addition to his parents, George is predeceased by his brothers Bob Zinkhen and Richard Zinkhen.
