Georgia K. Bruck

Friends are invited to visit at the funeral home on Thursday July 9 from 10am to 1pm. A prayer service will begin at 12:30pm.

Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery

Georgia K. Bruck, 74, of Lake Katrine passed away peacefully at Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing on Friday July 3, 2026. Born February 2, 1952, she was the daughter of the late James, Sr. and Pauline Whittaker Dixon. Also preceded in death by her husband Joseph Bruck, her sister Ida Dixon, and two brother Charles and Roger Dixon.

Georgia was a retired employee from SUNY New Paltz she worked for many years.

Georgia enjoyed long rides and traveling and spending time in nature. She loved to shop. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Georgia is survived by her daughter, Kerrie Kearney, her stepson Mark Bruck, her grandchildren Shawna Smith, Ryan Kearney, Ashton Kearney and Philip Kearney, her brothers James Dixon Jr and Martin Dixon, and her step-brother Silas Bradford. Six nieces, one nephew, 2 great-grandchildren, and many more cousins, great nieces, and great nephews and aunts also survive.
