Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday November 16th from 1-5 PM.
A funeral service will be held Monday 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.
Georgia A. Gregor, Jody, 69 , passed away peacefully Saturday, November 8th, 2025 at her home in Kingston, NY. Jody was born on June 30th, 1956 in Oneonta, NY. She was the daughter of the late Gregory T. Gregor and June Gregor. Jody was a graduate of Kingston High School and Richard the First Beauty School. A lifelong resident of Kingston, she worked in the insurance industry. She also worked in many restaurants over the years as a waitress and made many friends along the way. There weren't many people she didn't know. She always had a great work ethic and was very independent. She had an amazing personality. She loved to laugh, socialize and was the absolute life of the party. She enjoyed traveling and was able to visit Greece. She loved to cook and bake! She enjoyed hosting friends and family especially on holidays. She loved our annual Christmas cookie baking. Most of all she loved her family.
Jody is survived by her brother Tom Gregor and his partner Mary Badman of Kingston; brother Jim Gregor and his wife Lori of Kingston; sister Laurie Bouck and her husband George of Kingston; Nephews Jon Gregor of Kingston; Montgomery Mercado and his wife Chelsea of PA; George Bouck Jr. of Kingston; Joshua Bouck of Stuyvesant, NY; Nieces Alexandra Gregor of Kingston; Rachel Alo and her husband Alfred of Kingston; Hannah Bouck of Highland,NY; June Gregor of Saugerties, NY; Great nieces Layla Valot of Kingston; Meghan Alo of Kingston; great nephews Ben Alo of West Point, NY; Anthony Alo of Kingston; Lincoln Gregor of Kingston; Ezrah Ford of Kingston and Oakley Alo of Kingston. She is also survived by many close friends whom she loved.
We would like to give special thanks to Hudson Valley Hospice and the whole staff who cared for our sister. A personal thank you to Sara, RN., Jill and Mara, the nurses aides, and Brandy the scheduling coordinator. The help they provided for our family was unsurpassed. Also a very special thank you to Amie Durham, Bernice Arra, Jan McGowan and Alexandra Gregor for being by our sister's side and helping her and us through this process.
