Gerard R. Diers, Jr.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday September 29th from 3-5 PM.

Military honors and a period of remembrance will take place at 5.

Gerard R. Diers, Jr., 66, formerly of Saugerties and most recently of Port Orange, Florida died August 22, 2024. He was born on June 28, 1958 a son of the late Gerard R. Diers, Sr. and Marlene A. (Showers) Diers.

Gerard served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a union electrician with Local 363. He enjoyed Harley Davidson Motorcycles, antique cars and bicycles. He also played guitar.

Surviving are his children Jared Diers of Saugerties, Kristi Huber and her husband Travis of Saugerties and Jacob Diers of Kingston. Grandchildren Guy Michael, Max and Freddie. Sisters Jami Phillips and Susan Gambino.

He was predeceased by his parents and siblings Bobby Diers and Kelly Reif.
