Gloria Norton

Gloria Norton, of Saugerties passed away Saturday March 2, 2024 at home. She was born May 17, 1927 in Kingston, a daughter of the late Charles and Caroline Koeppen.

Gloria worked for Ametek Rotron and in her earlier years at Forst Meat Packing in Kingston. She enjoyed scrap booking, vacationing with her family, and trips to casinos. She was an avid fan of the New York Mets and loved all animals.

Surviving is her son Gary Norton of Wisconsin, a daughter Gail Zenker and her husband Ron of Saugerties. Grandchildren Gary, Jennifer, Brandon, Matthew, Eric and Kristel, great-grandchildren Dylan, Aiden, Alex, Brandon, Dakota, Bryan, Sean, Cory, Kristianna, one great great grandchild Avery, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gloria is predeceased by her husband John Gilbert Norton, sons Gilbert and Guy Norton, and siblings Charles Koeppen, Bertha Ward, and Louis Koeppen.
