Of German Street Kingston, New York died at home on Saturday March 22, 2025.  Born in Kingston July 10, 1954 a son of John E. VanDine and the late Marian D. (Rienzo) VanDine.

Greg graduated from Kingston High School and Ulster Community College. He retired from ARC Mid-Hudson and was previously employed at Met Life and United Health Care. He was an accomplished drummer who played in various local bands. He enjoyed spending leisure time with his wife at their camp in Sydney, New York.

Surviving, in addition to his father;  are his wife: Luann (Whalen) Van Dine,  a brother: Gary Van Dine and his wife Kathy, sisters: Carol Thompson and her husband Michael, Joanne Batista and her husband Rodney, sister-in-law: Nancy Cormier, and brother-in-law: William Whalen Jr. and his partner Dorothy Ormerod. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
