Friends will be received at the Joseph V Leahy Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Smith Avenue, Kingston on Saturday from 1:30 to 3:30 pm.

A celebration of Helen's life will follow at 3:30 pm.

Interment will be in Rosendale Plains Cemetery in the spring.

Helen Jeanette Miller, 95, of Ulster Park passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Golden Hill Nursing Center.

She was born in Hoboken, NJ, a daughter of the late Michael and Elizabeth Nortrup Romano. Helen moved to Rosendale at age 2. She married Daniel J. Miller on January 29, 1950 and they moved to Ulster Park in 1960.

Loving wife of Daniel John Miller who died May 12, 2011; mother of the late Elizabeth Mitchell (and her husband "Mick" of PA), the late Dorothy Ramus (and her husband George of Ft. Montgomery), Michele Decker (and her late husband Matthew) of Glasco, Daniel Miller Jr. (Diana) of VA, Kathryn Bonelli (Willie) of Saugerties, and the late John Miller; grandmother of Kelly Keane (Jeff), Jennifer Verdon, Mickey Mitchell (Meghan), Maegan Greenberg (David), Michael Verdon, Audrey Decker, Jordan Miller, Ryan Bonelli, and Kathryn Miller; great grandmother of Jeffrey and Matthew Keane, Victor Alamonte, Gabrielle and John Verdon, Jacob, Halley and Hannah Greenberg, Kailyn Marie Verdon, Holly and Madi Mitchell; sister of the late Gloria Genther, Elizabeth Davis, Michael Romano, Edith Davis, Marion Pulvirenti, Benjamin, Dora Maria, Frank, Lillian and Alfred Romano; aunt to many nieces, nephews and their families.

Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers may be made in the form of donations to TEVAS or The People's Place.
