Memorial visitation will be held Saturday March 1st from 2 to 4 PM.

A memorial service will take place at 4 PM.

Helga Mallette, 78, of Woodstock, New York died Friday February 21, 2025 at HealthAlliance Hospital:Mary's Avenue Campus in Kingston. She was born August 18, 1946 in Munich, Germany a daughter of the late George and Johanna Haidacher.

Helga worked at Hallmark in retail, and was a talented artist at home who enjoyed painting, she will lovingly be remembered as someone who was very helpful to those in the community. She was always willing to lend a hand, and to try new things.

Surviving are her children Andy Mallette and his wife Cynthia of Etters, Pennsylvania, Stephanie Kreisberg and her husband Glenn of Woodstock, New York, grandchildren Alisha Crosby, Jason Kreisberg, Emma Mallette and Sophie Kreisberg. A brother Andreas Haidacher and his wife Gisela of Germany also survive.

With many thanks to the staff at Health Alliance Hospital, Vassar Brother's Medical Center- Oncology & Radiology, and the support from family and friends who were by her side during her fight.

She will forever be missed.
