Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.

A funeral home service will take place at 2:00 PM.

Burial will follow at Hurley Cemetery.

Hank Buser passed away peacefully at age 93 on Tuesday afternoon at Tenbroeck Commons in Kingston. His loving daughter Daryl was by his side. Hank had a roomful of family and friends visiting and surrounding him with love during the last few days of his life. Henry Frederick Buser was born in The Bronx, NY, on July 16, 1929, to parents Mary and Frederick Paul Buser. Hank's parents emigrated from Switzerland via Ellis Island, and settled in The Bronx, NY, for their first home in America.

Hank - also known as Freddie or Henry - grew up in North Brunswick, NJ, with his parents and younger brother Walter. He enlisted and served in the Navy from 1949 to 1953. He was an Electronics Technician aboard the USS Helena during the Korean War. He wore his ship's Navy cap to every social event he attended in the last two decades of his life.

Hank met Barbara Borne (deceased in 2019) in San Diego, CA. They married in 1953 and had four children together: Cherie Lee, Richard Fred, Paul Todd and Lisa Marie. In 1976 Hank met, fell in love, and married Alice (White) Reilly in Kingston, NY. They enjoyed 25 years together until Alice's passing in 2004. Daryl (Reilly) Morrell became a much-loved part of the Buser family.

In 2005, Hank met Anne McElrath. Both being widowed, they fell in love and married. Their time together was cut short by Anne's untimely passing in 2013. Hank was employed by IBM in Kingston for 31 years as a Systems Computer Engineer. He was an active member of the Fair Street Reformed Church since 2000, singing in the choir, attending Sunday School, and helping to repair the church building.

Hank was a member of Kingston Mannerchor and Damenchor, Toastmasters, VFW Post 1386, and very active in Town of Esopus and Rosendale Seniors groups. Hank was invited to participate in The Honor Flight in 2017. He was passionate about his country, his dancing, and his family. He very much enjoyed life - planning trips and family reunions later in life.

Hank is survived by his children: Cherie Buser Levy (Robert), Richard Buser (Esther), Paul Buser, Lisa Buser, Daryl (Reilly) Morrell. Grandchildren: David Levy (Stacie), Jordan Levy (Erin), Alicia Ann Morrell (Drew Shaffer), Kristen (Morrell) O'Connell (Joseph). Great-grandchildren: Ashley Levy, Layla Levy, Kaylee Morrell, Faith Shaffer, Connor and Madison O'Connell.
