Herbert Lowe

Herbert's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday September 27, 2023 from 11 AM to 12 PM.

A Home Going service will begin at 12 PM.

Burial with military honors will follow at Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.

Herbert Lowe, 71, of Ulster Gardens Court was called home on September 13, 2023 at Westchester Medical Center.

Herbert worked various jobs including:  Hercules Powder Company, Ferroxcube, Rotron and Gateway Industries.  He also enjoyed house painting in his spare time.

Born on November 24th, 1951 in Catskill, NY to the late Martha (Ivery) Lowe and Harry Dickson.

Mr. Lowe is survived by his five sisters, Mamie Kate Shivers of Catskill, NY, Valerie Lowe and wife Joanne Velsor of Tillson, NY, Vanessa Lowe of Kingston, NY, Stephanie Lowe of Kingston, NY, Latonia Lowe of Kingston, NY and one brother, Arron Lowe of Kingston, NY;  his adopted brothers and sisters, Freeman Lowe of Ohio, Debbie Lowe of Albany, Cartina Lowe and Yolanda Lowe both of Poughkeepsie and Rosario Thigpen of North Carolina, A host of nieces and nephews also survive.

Herbert was predeceased by his mother, Martha (Ivery) Lowe, his father, Harry Dickson; his brothers and sisters, John W. Lowe III, Carol Russell, Robert W. Russell Jr. June M. Banks, Costine Lowe, Irving Lowe and a foster sister, Romona Roscoe.
