Howard W. "Butch" Hinkley, 81 of the Town of Ulster passed away peacefully on Tuesday April 23, 2024.
Butch was a union carpenter working thirty five years in Local 279 where after fifty four years, he is still a member. He was an avid camper traveling throughout the country and was a member of the NCHA - FCRV Camping Organization for over forty years and a member of the Leftfooters Square Dancing Club. Butch, worked hard all his life, not only at his job but especially for his family and friends. He was always willing to lend a hand, give advice, and give his support in the blink of an eye to anyone that needed it. "Butchie" truly lived to spend time with his family and friends, entertaining them with his humor, smile, unforgettable laugh and endless stories.
Surviving is his wife of fifty nine years, (sixty years would have come this September) Betty Ann Hinkley; his children, James Howard Hinkley and his wife Christy; Julie Ann Koch and her husband David; his grandchildren, Natalie and Maximilian "Max" Hinkley.
