Inocencia "Cindy" D. Clarke, 85, of Kingston died Monday October 14, 2024 at her home. Born December 28, 1938 in Panama she was the daughter of the late Juana Diaz.

Cindy left Panama at a young age. When she got to the States, she worked as an Au Pair. When she arrived in New York she was a single mom to two girls and worked in the White Tower Restaurant in Queens. It was there that she met her husband William Clarke and as a family moved to Kingston. Where they would welcome a son. This is where Cindy, as she like to be called, made her home. she later worked as a cafeteria server for the Kingston City School District and previously owned a Deli in Kingston.

Cindy was a very spiritual person. Her faith was very strong. She was a very hard worker. She had a long and rewarding career in the School Lunch Program. No child ever left hungry. She had many interests. She loved geography, travel, reading, and photography. Cindy loved music and was an excellent dancer. She completed courses on real estate and cake decorating. She made chocolate novelties for major holidays. She was an excellent seamstress. She was very creative. She had children and grandchildren whom she adored. She had so many friends, many were lifelong friends.

She was tough, kind, loyal, funny and very smart. She was one of a kind

Cindy is survived by her children, Cynthia J Martin, Hope Marie Martin and Brian Clarke.  As well as six grandchildren.  Kolton Martin, Tyanna Bloodgood, Logan Clarke, Kai Clarke, Avery Clarke, Mia Clarke.  Also her two brothers: Rogelio Valenzuela and Valerio Valenzuela.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother Jesus Valenzuela and her husband William Clarke.
