Irene J. Roudis

Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 PM.

A funeral procession will form at the funeral home on Monday at 9:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:00 AM at Saint Joseph's Church.

Burial will follow Saint Mary's of the Snow Cemetery.

Irene J. Roudis of the Town of Ulster entered into eternal rest on Wednesday April 3, 2024.

Irene was a devoted and loving daughter and sister to the late Nick J. and Josephine Cashara Roudis and the late Franklin J. Roudis.

Affectionately known as "Aunt Dolly". She was the heart of her family.

Irene was an honors graduate of both Ulster County Community College and State University of New York at New Paltz. She worked at Ulster County Department of Social Services for thirty-four years before retiring in 2002 and also worked as a substitute teacher in area schools.

Irene was a life parishioner of St. Joseph's Church Kingston where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and taught in their Religious Education Programs.

Survivors include her brother Nicholas J. Roudis, nieces Nicole Fiore, Deanna Guevara (Luis), Shae Roudis, and Melissa Potter (Kyle). She also spent many happy and special times with her grandnieces Justice and Jenna Smith, grandnephews, Nicholas Smith, Luis and Antonio Guevara, and Cameron and Landon Potter, great niece Emma White and great nephews Julian White and Lukas Smith. Also surviving are her very special cousin Rosemarie Smith (Del) and longtime friends and "Sisters" in heart Junice Santa Ana and Maggie Burris, other cousins also survive.
