Irene Winchell

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Saturday January 14th from 10 AM until 12 noon.

A funeral service will be held at 12 noon.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Irene Winchell, formerly of Connelly died Saturday January 7, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. Born October 10, 1945 in Kingston, she is the daughter of the late Harry and Frances Jansen.

Irene was a homemaker throughout her life. She enjoyed playing cards with her husband, and after his death, she found camping as a retreat that would comfort her. She also enjoyed listening to country music.

Surviving are her daughters Laurie Cook and her husband BJ of Connelly, Karen Brown and her husband Manny of Lake Katrine, Mary Marshall and her husband Yon of Connelly. Grandchildren John, Cody, Shonqwelle, Galin, Lyasia, Yoneik, Yon, Jr., Yamon, eight great grandchildren. Siblings Lois Bundy, James Jansen, Carol Hammond, Nancy Morgan, Harry Jansen, many nieces and nephews as well as a special friend Kenneth Blair, Jr. also survive.

Irene was predeceased by her husband Robert Winchell, and three brothers Warren Jansen, Bruce Jansen, Raymond Jansen.
