Iris Berkowitz

Graveside services will take place on Friday August 9th 10 AM at Montrepose Cemetery.

Iris Berkowitz, 88, died Tuesday August 6, 2024. She was born January 24, 1936 in the Bronx, a daughter of the late Abraham and Minnie Berkowitz.

Iris loved music, visitors played Beatles classics for her on guitars that she really seemed to enjoy. She also had a small doll collection over the years. Iris loved to hug people, she had an incredible grip reflex and she would often hug people's arms- she was stronger than most pro wrestlers!

She is survived by her friends and family at ARC Palmer Center.
