Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday May 24th from 4-8 PM.

A funeral procession will form on Saturday 9 AM at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM at St. Joseph's Church.

Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Jacqueline M. "Jackie" Hoffay, 85 , of Kingston passed away peacefully Monday May 20, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 6, 1939 in Kingston, a daughter of the late Francis and Rose (Benicase) Grube.

She was a lifelong parishioner of St. Joseph's Church. Jackie enjoyed going to the casino, watching the Yankees and her game shows and her scratch off tickets. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and watching it grow.

Surviving are her children Lisa VanVoorhis and her husband Bill, Laurie Paige and her husband Bill, Robert V. Hoffay, Jr. and his wife Maria, Lyn Hammerle and her husband Rob, Richard Hoffay and his wife Linda, and Kate Franco. Grandchildren; Patrick Mitchell and his wife Kelly, Alicyn VanVoorhis and her fiancé Dave, Heather Kaiser and her husband Barry, Katelyn Litts and her husband Travis, Nicholas Paige and his fiancée Deanna, Melanie Hoffay, Megan Hoffay and her fiancé James, Robert Hammerle, Alexis Hammerle and her fiancée Carlos, Madison Hammerle, Riley Hoffay, Tanner Hoffay, Payton Hoffay, Joshua Franco, and Sophia Kearney. Great-great grandchildren, Perri, Maren, Hunter, Easton, Erin, Abbey, Julianna and Novalee.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of fifty eight years Robert V. Hoffay, Sr. and a grandson Matthew Hoffay.
