Of Leggs Mills Rd died at his home Saturday January 3, 2026 with his loving family at his side.  Born in Manchester Ct. September 23, 1951 he is a son of the late Robert and Rose (Colombaro ) Holland.

Jim graduated from Ellington High School class of 1969.  Employed as The Pathologist Assistant , at The Benedictine Hospital Pathology Lab. Upon Lab's closure he remained at The Hospital in the Housekeeping Department until retirement.

Surviving are his wife, Deborah (McHugh) Holland. Stepson, Vincent Robinson and his wife, Heather. Sister Joan Holland. Brother Donald Holland and his wife P. J. Two grandchildren Paris and Quinn Robinson. He also survived by his loving niece Kim Klomm, who he adored and considered her as a daughter.  Nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Jim's enthusiasm for football and baseball was evident with the New York Giants and the New York Yankees being his favorite teams. An avid golfer, Jim actively took pleasure in playing and often sharing the time with his wife Debbie and his niece Kimmie. In his leisure time, television viewing was a staple, particularly when sports were on. Years ago, Jim was a good bowler as well.  Scoring a 269,300,266 for his high series of 835 in a NYS Moose Tournament.

Jim was a beacon of kindness, and positivity, a truly loving gentleman. He never spoke poorly about anyone. If there were ever a hint of frustration toward you, rest assured it was a rare occurrence and likely justified.

Jim married the love of his life, Debbie in April 1991.  They spent just over 34 years of happiness, travel, and the best of times. Jim cherished his time that he spent with Debbie whether it was watching their favorite TV shows that they recorded, while sipping on cocktails, a ride in the car to go to Connecticut to visit family or to go visit his grandkids who he loved spending time with.

Despite being diagnosed with prostate cancer in August of 2024, Jim demonstrated remarkable resilience and fought the disease with determination and dignity. The loss of Jim will be felt by everyone who came in contact with him and the void he leaves in our hearts will be impossible to fill.
