James Henry Holmes, Jr.

Inurnment will be held 2:00 pm on Saturday October 11, 2025 at Hurley Cemetery.

James H. Holmes , 41, of Kingston passed away at Westchester Medical Center on August 30, 2025. Born July 27, 1984, he was the son of the late Gloria (Buley) and step-father Robert G. Reed.

James liked to spend his time camping, playing cards and games, and watching T.V.

James is survived by his half-siblings: Dawn Boice and her partner Manny Rojas, Wendy Fauble and her husband Robert, Paul and Cathy Boice and his step-children: Debbie Reed and her partner Lenny Gallo and Raymond Reed and his wife Jayne. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and many cousins, his close cousin Stephen North. He resided with his cousins Carol Kenly, her husband Donald Jr., and Donald III. He is also survived by his good friends Leanne Gilbert and Lily Fiorino.

In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his half-sister Mary (Boice) Brown and his biological father, James H. Holmes, Sr.
