James "Jamie" Mayo

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday February 5th from 1-3 PM. A memorial service will be held at 3 PM.

James "Jamie" Mayo died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. He was born November 13, 1976, in Burlington, Vermont, a son of Alan Mayo and the late Linda (West) Mayo.

Jamie's interests included collecting ribbons and making knots, as well as trips to Wendy's.  He also enjoyed a wide range of activities with his peers and staff at Reed House and the ARC Mid-Hudson Day Habilitation Program.  Jamie was always happiest with a good cup of coffee in his hand.

He is survived by his father, Alan Mayo, a brother, Nathan Mayo of Staatsburg, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his friends and family at ARC Mid-Hudson.

Jaime was predeceased by his mother, Linda Mayo, and his brother, Jeffrey Mayo.

Expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, may be made in the form of contributions to the ARC Mid-Hudson Reed House Recreation Fund.
