Joan A. McNamee

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday July 17th from 4-7 PM. 

A funeral service will take place Saturday 10:30 AM at the funeral home. 

Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.

Joan A. McNamee, 81, of Lake Katrine died Monday July 13, 2026 at HealthAlliance Hospital:Mary's Avenue Campus. She was born January 1, 1945 in the Bronx, a daughter of the late Robert Wilson and Margaret (Wonsor) Rominger.

Joan worked for many years as a customer service representative for United Health Care. She will be remembered as a loving mother, wife , grandmother and great grandmother.

Surviving are her children William Craven and his wife Frances, Suzanne Meineke and her husband John, Steven Craven and his wife Michele, many grandchildren and great grandchildren . Her sister Carol Gangi as well as many nieces and nephews also survive.

She was predeceased by her husband John McNamee. And her brothers Richard Zinkhen, Robert Zinkhen and George Rominger.
