John "Pip" Augustine

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-6 PM.

A funeral procession will form Thursday 9 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM at Immaculate Conception Church in Kingston.

John F. "Pip" Augustine, 58, died unexpectedly Friday May 5, 2023 at home. Born July 9, 1964 in Kingston, he is the son of Gladys and the late Sylvester "Wimpy" Augustine.

Pip was a locksmith for all of his adult life. He was a certified master locksmith who owned and operated JohnnyLock in Kingston. In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors-hunting, four wheeling, and motocross. He also dabbled in classic cars, creating projects where he would take them apart and rebuild them.

Surviving is his mother Gladys Augustine, siblings Michael Augustine, Richard Augustine (Lee Ann Thomas), Terri Shutter (Russell Graham), Jerry (Melanie) Augustine and James (Theresa) Augustine, many nieces and nephews especially Richard Augustine, Jr. and Kyle Augustine, and a longtime girlfriend Robin Stein also survive.
