Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday December 10th from 4 to 8 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church Thursday at 11:00 AM.

John M. Long, 87, of Kingston, NY passed away peacefully at home on December 3rd 2025. Born in Kingston on November 21st, 1938 he was the son of the late John H. and Dolorita Long.

On August 16th 1959 John married the love of his life and high school sweetheart Nancy Gulisano and just recently celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary by each others side everyday with decades of love, laughter, with many amazing memories to cherish. John was an amazing husband, father, grandfather and great grandpa. For John, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren meant the world to him. John had a life long career working for Rotron where he retired with 41 years of dedicated service. John took pride in being a family man and very much enjoyed traveling, and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed camping and coached his son's little league teams for many years. He enjoyed reading, especially anything to do with history. Everyone loved John for his great sense of humor.

John is survived by his wife of 66 years Nancy Long (Gulisano), his Son's Michael Long (wife Tracy), Joseph Long (wife Debbie), Christopher Long (wife Djennarra) and Stephen Long. His legacy stands strong with his Grandchildren: Jason Long (wife Hannah), Justin Long (wife Courtney), Kaleigh Illa (husband Victor), Andrew Long (wife Christine), Alyssa Maher (husband Shaun), Taylor Long (partner Michael Arastiqueti) Breah Mihok (husband Justin), Taygen Long, Samantha Fagan (wife Kim Fagan), Allison Long (partner Josh Kobylanski) and Samantha Holloway. John's Great Grandchildren: Caylee (partner Gage), Kaiden, Arya, Kieran Illa, River and Remi White Amelia and Jayce Maher, Karsyn Knox, Ava and Ella Mihok, Aiden McNally, Wesley McCallum and Harper Caswell, Juliette and Benjamin Fagan, Chaelynne, Miliana, Nevaeh and Keith Holloway, Lily Mejia and a Great Great Granddaughter Rori Mowen. Niece's Tracy Mowry (husband Steve) Melanie Gulisano (partner Jerry) and Nephew David Gulisano (wife Liz).

Predeceased by infant sister, Mary Kate, brother and sister-in-law Joseph and Eileen, Golisano and daughter-in-law, Lory Long.

He will be missed dearly by many.
