Joseph P. Christofora

A graveside service will be held at the family plot in St. Mary's Cemetery in Kingston on Tuesday April 2, 2024 at 10 AM.

Joseph P. Christofora, 72, of Nashville died March 5, 2024. He was born May 3, 1951 in Kingston, a son of the late Julius and Adeline Christofora. Joe served our country in the United States Navy during Vietnam. In Kingston he was employed as a cook at Captain Hanks Restaurant and also was a house painter for Michael Cecelia.

Surviving are his siblings Josephine Fischer of Hurley, Theresa Christofora of Kingston, Grace Lovgren and Angela Mead both of Ulster Park, Nancy Bundy and Denise Melito both of Saugerties, brothers, Vincent Christofora of Woodstock, Thomas Christofora,  of Kingston.  Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.  He is predeceased by four sisters, Juliette Christofora, Elizabeth Reynolds, Jennie Raleigh and Delores Lawrence and brothers Gerard, Michael and John Christofora.
