Joyce Mae Brandt

Joyce Mae Brandt, 75, of Mt. Marion passed away on Monday November 18, 2024 at home. She was born on February 19, 1949 in Kingston, a daughter of the late Harry and Cora (Smith) Brandt. Joyce worked for many years at Stewarts Shops in the area. She retired as a manager after working over fifteen years with the company. She then went on to tend bar at the Shamrock Tavern in Kingston until the pandemic. Joyce enjoyed bingo and doing puzzles. One of her favorite daily pastimes was feeding and watching the birds-especially hummingbirds. Her favorite TV show was NCIS.

Surviving are her children Dorene Rocco of Saugerties, Davis Mannello, III of Saugerties, Andrea Browe (Aimen Saadi) of Mt. Marion, Nicole "Nickie" Browe of Mt. Marion, Deana Browe of Mt. Marion, nieces whom she raised Sabrina and Samantha Fales. Grandchildren Marissa, Christopher, Melissa, Cody, Xena, Alyssa, Jacob, Alexis, Jasper, Myles, Jeremy, and great grandchildren Kaeden, Ryelynn, Roman, Phoenix and Madilyn. She is also survived by her siblings Barry Brandt, Roger Brandt and Shirley Gollnick as well as her beloved canine companion Chachi. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by many brothers and sisters, including her twin brother John.
