A service will be held at the funeral home Thursday at 1:30 pm.

Friends may visit at 12:30pm.

Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.

Of Rockwell Lane died at HealthAlliance Hospital on Saturday September 20, 2025. Born in Broadalbin , New York  September 22, 1935 she is a daughter of the late Franklin and Evelyn (Watson) Whitman.  June was raised in Bloomngton  In "CreekLocks".

Before she began her family she was employed by IBM, She also assisted her husband in his business. June was a volunteer in her church, in her younger years she was a member of various swim clubs in the area. She loved gardening around her property.

Surviving are her husband, Joseph H. Hanss. They were married for sixty nine years and acquainted for seventy five years. A son Scott  Hanss, daughter Lynne D'Sousa. Sisters; Mildred Milkovich, Evelyn Focht and Lynn Tetley, many nieces and nephews also survive. She was predeceased by her son Joseph Hanss, Sister, Zane, brothers Sandford, and Wilbur.
