Kevin Patrick McCauley , of Kingston died unexpectedly Sunday June 29, 2025 at home. He was born June 5, 1969 in Kingston, a son of Dolores (Guido) McCauley and the late Lawrence R. McCauley, Sr.

Kevin graduated with honors from the University of South Carolina and worked as a therapist treating those suffering from addiction. He was most recently employed by the State of South Carolina in the Surplus Property Office.  Kevin recently returned to New York after living in South Carolina for 29 years.  During that period, he formed many strong friendships and is missed by all.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his brother Lawrence McCauley (Victor Schoonmaker) of Kingston and a sister Roseann McCauley (Michael Scheppa) of Ruby.  Several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins survive.

The McCauley family would like to thank Dale Stokes, who provided Kevin with much needed care after he sustained severe injuries from an accident.
