Kevin B. Rosa Sr., 65 of Saugerties died Tuesday December 17, 2024. Born January 10, 1959 in Kingston, New York he was the son of the late John C. and Dolores E. (Banks) Rosa.

Kevin was a Sergeant for the New York State Department of Corrections at Ulster Correctional Facility. He served in the U.S. Army, and the U.S. Army Reserves. He was a coach for local little leagues, Cub Scout Leader, lover of animals, and a great mentor and friend to all. Kevin and his wife were "Weekend Warriors" who enjoyed traveling and going to concerts. Kevin was the type of person to give you the shirt off his back, and looked out for others before himself.

Kevin is survived by his wife Elizabeth A. (Ambrose) Rosa. His children; Kevin Rosa (Nicole Thayer), Michael Rosa and his fianceè Maria Demelis, siblings; Michael Cooper and Sandra Caprotti. Grandchildren; Jace, Charley, Keegan, Macey, Devin and Layla Rosa, many nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Amos Cooper.
