Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday July 15th from 4-7 and Thursday July 16th from 10 AM until 11 AM.
A funeral service will be held Thursday 11 AM. Burial will follow in New Paltz Rural Cemetery.
Kyle Ennis, 36, passed away unexpectedly while at home on July 10, 2026. Kyle was born in Kingston, NY to Donna Fleck Ennis and Gary Ennis.
Kyle was a graduate of Kingston High School Class of 2008. Kyle earned his automotive degree from Columbia-Greene Community College in 2015. After graduation, Kyle was employed by Sharp Transmission, followed by Ulster County Area Transit (UCAT), a mechanic for Williams Lumber in Rhinebeck, and Jiffy Lube as a New York State Automobile Inspector. In addition, Kyle worked as a waiter at many of Kingston's finer dining establishments.
Kyle enjoyed attending music festivals, camping, swimming and snow boarding. Kyle was also an automobile enthusiast. He loved working on cars, especially his older model Porsches.
Kyle was a loving and caring son, brother, nephew, uncle and cousin. He had a huge heart and wonderful sense of humor often bringing smiles to those he loved. He loved animals and helping others. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.
Kyle will be lovingly remembered by his parents Donna and Gary Ennis, his brothers Christopher (Andrea) Ennis and their daughter Eleanor, his best friend Sean Ennis, Aunts Karen Antion and Elizabeth Citino, Margaret (Paul) O'Flaherty, and his Uncles Edward (Enice) Fleck and Robert (Clare) Ennis. As well as numerous others aunts, uncles, cousins.
Kyle was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Joan and Louis Fleck and his paternal grandparents Doris and Jacob Ennis. Kyle was also predeceased by his Aunt Kathleen Fleck Cottrell and his uncle Gerard Fleck.
