Leroy W. Lewis

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday January 17th from 9 AM until 11 AM. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM.

Burial with military honors will follow in Frederick W. Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Rockland County.

LeRoy W. Lewis, Jr., 87, of Port Ewen died Monday January 13, 2025 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on May 21, 1937 in Ringwood New Jersey to Leroy W. Lewis Sr. and Ida Lewis.

LeRoy served our country in the United States Army and the United States Air Force and he was incredibly proud of his country. He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor for New Haven Lawn Club in New Haven, CT. LeRoy loved spending his time fishing and was an avid New York Yankee fan. He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and his cats Oscar, Felix and Jack. He was a member of the VFW Post 1386 and American Legion Post 150.

LeRoy is survived by his children: Tonya Ryan and her husband Robert Isola of Port Ewen, Sandra Lewis of Virginia, Donna Lewis and her husband Patrick of Virginia, and Patrick Marsh and his partner Lisa Brank of Hamden, CT. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jenna Ryan and her husband William Smith, Kellie Ryan, Abigail Marsh, Amber Marsh, great-grandchildren: Carlee, Savannah, and Hunter. His sisters: Gloria Siegmund and Bertha Smith. Also survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

LeRoy is predeceased by his loving wife, Veronica, and his son, LeRoy, Jr. (Lee), his grandson Tommy and many siblings and loved ones.
