Lester James Alexander

LESTER JAMES ALEXANDER

Of West Hurley passed away November 13, 2023. He was 82 years old. Born in Glenford, NY October 29, 1941 the son of Lester John and Mary Helen (Jones) Alexander.

Lester was a graduate of Onteora High School class of 1960. He was employed by The Ulster County Highway Department. Jim was an avid fan of The New York Mets, NASCAR , local dirt racing and The Brooklyn Dodgers.

He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Audrey (Kearney) Alexander. His children; Laurie (Chris) Staiger, James (Nicole) Alexander, Karyn (Michael) Hochman. Grandchildren; Madelyne (Dante),Sophia, Lorelei, Natalie, Lucas, Lily, Emily and a great-granddaughter Amelia. Siblings; Dean, Donna, Terry, Josie,and Cindy.  In addition to his parents he was predeceased by siblings Thomas, Frank ,William, Katherine and Evelyn.
