Loren J. Shultis

Loren J. Shultis, 65, of West Hurley passed away peacefully Friday August 9, 2024 at his home with his significant other Sandy Johnsmeyer by his side. He was born September 14, 1958 in Kingston a son of Burton and Lorraine (Sikorski) Shutis.

An avid hunter and outdoorsman, Loren also enjoyed time snowmobiling and motorcycling. He served his community as the Chairman of the West Hurley Fire Department Board of Commissioners. He was a member of the Southside Rod & Gun Club in West Hurley, where he was very active in many club activities and winning their annual Turkey Shoot. Loren was an entrepreneur, and will be fondly remembered as a very hardworking man of many trades.

Surviving in addition to his mother is his sister Anita Mault of Brockport. Cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
