Lorraine Wilowski Gibson

Lorraine Wilowski Gibson , passed away peacefully, at home with her family on July 2, 2025, following a long, valiant battle with Cancer. Born May 17, 1950, in Flushing, NY, she was predeceased by her mother and father, Chauncey and Stephana Wilowski, of Bayside and Riverhead, NY.

She is survived by her two children, whom she loved dearly, Alicia Gibson, an artist in Woodstock, and Makarios Tubor, a counselor in Greenville, SC, along with her sister, Christiann Willows in Denver, Colorado, and a host of cousins.

Her many noted accomplishments include graduation from Manhattanville University, followed by Fordham University School of Law; thereafter serving for many years with the Office of the Queens County District attorney as an Assistant District attorney, ultimately handling very serious felony cases.  She later joined as a partner the Law Firm of Wilowski & Wilowski concentrating on Trusts, Wills and Estates.  She was also a long-time realtor with Caldwell, Banker, Caine in Greenville, SC.
She will be remembered above all for the overwhelming love and time she directed to her family.  She immersed herself in the many family travel adventures, to such places as Argentina, New Zealand, as well as much of Europe.

A private memorial service is being planned for later in the Summer.
