Louis "Lou" Costello

Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

 A funeral home service will take place at 1:00 PM. 

Burial will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery. 

Louis "Lou" Costello, 81, of Kingston died Thursday April 30, 2026 at HealthAlliance Hospital Mary's Avenue Campus. Born June 20, 1944 in Kingston he was the son of the late James and Mary (DeCicco) Costello Sr.

Lou was a floor worker for ARC for over forty years until retirement and worked at many local business throughout the years. He also helped his mom Mary D. with the bus trips and loved selling chances with her. Everybody knew Lou, he was very social and well known. His main interests were traveling, eating at local establishments, and talking and being around people.

Lou is survived by his siblings; Jacqueline C. Costello-Fontaine and her husband Paul, James A. Costello Jr. and his wife Jo-Anne, John J, Costello and his wife Diane, and Joanne M. (Costello) Mittleman and her husband Harold. He is also survived by three nieces, five nephews and many great nieces and nephews as well as many friends.

To the homes that Lou resided at Wilson House, Cedar Ridge House and Palmer House, we are very thankful for their kindness and care.
