Louise Iapoce

Louise Iapoce, formerly of Linderman Avenue Kingston passed away Saturday September 5, 2026 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. She was born August 3, 1942 in Kingston a daughter of the late John and Cornelia (Dieroff) Klarick.

Louise worked for over thirty years as an EKG technician at Benedictine Hospital in Kingston and also managed Eagle Crest Apartments, owning and renovating local properties throughout Kingston with her husband Tom. She was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph’s church for over 40 years.

Louise enjoyed traveling with her husband, Tom. Over the years they visited many places together and appreciated the opportunity to experience new destinations and spend time together. Their travels together created many lasting memories .

Family was always her greatest priority and the center of her life. She cherished holidays spent surrounded by loved ones and had a special gift of bringing family and friends together. An exceptional cook, she delighted in preparing meals that filled her home with warmth, laughter, and lasting memories. One of her greatest joys was hosting family and friends during her sons Darren Iapoce weekend Memorial Golf tournament where her hospitality, delicious food and welcoming spirit made the gathering a treasured tradition for over 30 years. Her love for family and her ability to make everyone feel at home will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her sons Joseph, Thomas, two daughter-in-laws, Karen and Carolyn, and five beloved grandchildren Kaytlin, Christian, Shelby, Nicholas and Sydney and her great grandchild Carter. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of fifty-seven years Thomas Iapoce, her son Darren Iapoce and siblings Mary "Lou" Schrowang, Kathleen Hill and Joan Anderson.

The Iapoce Family would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the wonderful staff at Elderwood Village at Colonie for loving Louise like she was part of your family.

We will always cherish the memories made during her time at Elderwood, the bowling, bingo, crafts, outing, and, most of all, the friendships she formed. You helped make her days brighter, and her life richer, and we are so thankful for the love and joy you brought into her life.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday September 14th from 3-6 PM. A funeral procession will form Tuesday 10 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM at St. Joseph's Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
