Manuel Moran

Manuel Moran, 77 of Poughkeepsie entered into eternal rest on July 22nd, 2025 with his loving family by his side. Manuel was born on December 28th, 1947 and was the son of the late George and Angela (Rodriguez) Moran. He was predeceased by his brother Louis Moran.

He is survived by his three daughters: Justina (Marcos) Rios, Tiffany Moran & Krista Moran. His four grandchildren Ahdrianna Soto of North Carolina, Marcos Rios Jr. of Poughkeepsie NY and Caroline and Noah Stafford of Florida. His sister Ruth Gomez of Florida, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Manuel was a graduate of James Monroe High School in Bronx, NY. He also attended Marist College for Business Management. He worked for Reynolds Metal from 1972 to 1983. He retired from IBM with over 25 years of service as a Senior Production Technician Specialist.

Manuel will have a lasting effect on the people he impacted throughout his life. He will be greatly missed.

A private family ceremony will be held. A foundation will be started in honor of Manuel. "Walk for Pop's" will be established providing an annual walk for hope and support for families and loved ones who have lost the ability to walk.
