Maretta "Muffin" Bridgit Gessner

A memorial service will be held at the Gessner family plot in St. Mary's Cemetery on Thursday August 1, 2024 at 11:00 AM Rev Lou Ya Ya will Officiate.

MARETTA  BRIDGIT GESSNER "MUFFIN"

Formerly of West Pierpont  Street and Yosman Towers Kingston, New York died at Golden Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday July 17, 2024. She was seventy seven years of age.

Born  January 21, 1947 in Denton, Maryland. The only child of the late Frederick and Janet (Satterfield) Gessner.

Maretta was a graduate of Denton High School. She received her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from UCCC in 1999. She was happily employed by The Benedictine Hospital for many years until chronic kidney disease forced her into retirement. She was a member of The Bene Buddies where she found the loving companionship of her fellow nurses. Muffin was a supporter of our veterans and appreciated the American flags placed in our local cemeteries each Memorial Day by the American Legion Post 150.

Grateful appreciation to Golden Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center Unit C1 and Kingston Dialysis Center for their loving supportive care over the past seven years.
