Margaret A. (Molloy) Tinnie, 81
of the Town of Ulster, passed away peacefully on February 10th in the presence of her sons, Don and Mike. Peg had been in poor health for the last several years and suffered a hemorrhagic stroke which took her quickly and painlessly.
Peggy was born in Jersey City, NJ to Peter P. and Alice C. Molloy on September 22, 1944. The family moved to Kingston NY to be closer to Peggy's maternal family while she was in grade school, where she remained a life-long resident.
Peg is predeceased by her parents, Alice and Pete Molloy, and her husband, Donald (Mac) Tinnie, Jr. Peg is survived by family members including her children, Rebecca Smith and her daughters Allison and Katelyn, son Donald III and his wife Michele Richards and their daughter Juliet, youngest son Michael and his wife Tina, and their sons Mikey and Liam. She is further survived by her nephew, Peter Camarero, and niece Therese (Scott) Christopher and their daughter, Meghan.
The family would like to thank the numerous members of the medical community who provided care for Peg in recent years, and especially the members of, and EMT's from, Ulster Hose; the Town of Ulster police and the Empress Ambulance service who answered the call to care for Peg prior to her passing. Many thanks to the staff and caregivers from Caring Connectors who provided support to Peggy and her family during the last several months.
