Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday April 7th from 4-6 PM.

A funeral procession will form Wednesday 9 AM at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM at St. Joseph's Church.

Burial will follow at Montrepose Cemetery.

Marianne Dowgird-Breithaupt, 73 , of Spring Lake died Tuesday March 31, 2026 at home after a long illness. She was born July 7, 1952 in Kingston, a daughter of the late Paul and Helen(Yaschuk) Dowgird.

Marianne worked in human resources for Ulster County for many years. She was also employed by Ulster Greene ARC for seven years, Deveraux for eighteen years and as a second job she was employed at Stewarts, where she was well-known at both the Boulevard and Lucas Avenue locations. A former president of the Toastmasters Public Speaking Club, she was also active in theater with the Coach House Players in Kingston, once even dancing down Broadway.

Surviving is her brother Gregory Dowgird and his wife Ren of Albany, a niece Paula Dowgird and nephew Erik Kellerman. Great niece and nephew Connor Kellerman and Alyssa Shaw.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Joann Dowgird-Kellerman.
