Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday March 1st from 2-6 PM.
A funeral service will be held Monday 11 AM at the funeral home.
Entombment will follow in the Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum.
Marie Coppage, 80 , of the Town of Ulster died Thursday February 26, 2026 at home surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born June 7, 1945 in Wilmington, Delaware a daughter of the late Arthur and Marie (Feeley) Green.
Prior to her illness Marie was an accountant who owned her own business in the Town of Ulster. In an attempt to give back to her community Marie volunteered as an EMT at Diaz Ambulance. At the age of 40 along with her business partner and dear friend of over 50 years Arlene Cotich, Marie got her motorcycle license. She enjoyed spending her free time riding with her husband Bud on their Harley Davidson Motorcycles or tooling around in their convertible. The most important thing to Marie was spending time with her loved ones. Bud and Marie were known for entertaining their family and friends during the holidays or enjoying "tea time" on their back deck during the warmer months.
Surviving is her husband of 61 years Briggs "Bud" Coppage, Jr. of the Town of Ulster, children William Coppage (Robin Carney) of Port Ewen, Kimberly Coppage and her wife Dr. Laraine Caliri of Mt. Tremper, Darin Coppage of Town of Ulster, Maegan Rezk and her husband Loay of Kingston. Grandchildren Preston Coppage, Nadya and Yusef Rezk. Siblings Linda Baxter, Josephine Nosovsky, Richard and John Green as well as many nieces and nephews also survive.
A sister Diane Mead predeceased her.
The family would like to send the gratitude to Hudson Valley Hospice for their compassionate care during her illness.
