A funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM.

Marilyn Jean Petersen, 91, of Kingston died Thursday July 4, 2024 at HealthAlliance Hospital Mary's Avenue Campus. Born March 5, 1933 in Vinton, Iowa she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mattie (Noeller) Robertson.

Marilyn was a homemaker. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, and a very active member of the UMW, having been honored as mother of the year in 1975.

Marilyn is survived by her daughters; Colette Tighe and Dawn Overton and her husband Rob. Grandson Blake Overton, sister in law Betty Robertson and nephews Craig and Rick Robertson  also survive.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Floyd G. Petersen. Siblings; Wayne, Harold, D. Keith and Kermit Robertson.
