Marion Bunt

Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday April 24th from 10 AM until 11:30 AM.

A funeral service will take place at 11:30 AM.

Marion Bunt, 98, of the Town of Ulster passed away Friday April 17, 2026. She was born March 22, 1928 in Alligerville, a daughter of the late Harold and Anna (Kleckler) Hart.

Mrs. Bunt began her career at IBM working in the Poughkeepsie location, before transferring to Kingston. She retired in February of 1987. She was considered the matriarch of her family and enjoyed hosting many events at her home. She was an avid gardener and held a close relationship with her beloved neighbors, enjoying time shared and taking care of their dogs as well.

Surviving is her sister Patricia Godwin and her husband William as well as many nieces and nephews, especially locally her niece Donna L. Rice whom cared for her.

She was predeceased by her husband Bernard B. Bunt as well as brothers and sisters Donald Hart, Francis Hart, Rose Roe, William Hart, Carl Hart, Ruth Bollin, Doris Blume and Carolyn Hogan.
