Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.

A funeral procession will form at the funeral home on Friday at 10:30 AM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11:30 AM at Saint Mary's Church.  Burial will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.

Mary Ann McDermott, 84, of Kingston died Friday December 8, 2023 at Golden Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Born May 18, 1939 in Kingston she was the daughter of the late Edward A. and Melvina J. (Miles) McGowan.

Mary Ann was employed at Met Life as a Microfilmer and in the records department until her retirement. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, shopping, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary Ann is survived by her son William McDermott Jr. (Jennifer Harvey) of Kingston, grandchildren Madison and Nicholas McDermott. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her daughter Cynthia "Cindy" McDermott, sisters; Margaret Walker, Angela Doyle, Edwina Meiers, step father Nelson Miles and step sister Therese Donnelly.
