A Home Going Celebration will take place at the Historic Second Baptist Church  on 36 Vassar & Mill Street Poughkeepsie NY 12601.

Visitation will take place at 10:00am and Home Going Service will follow right after at 11:00 am on Friday November 17th, 2023.

Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.

Repast will take place at 16 Cedar Street Kingston New York 12401 (Pop-up shop & Cafe) from 2:30 pm until 6:00 pm  on Friday November 17th 2023 with family and friends.

Mary F. Seay, 77, of Kingston died Tuesday November 7, 2023 at HealthAlliance Hospital Mary's Avenue Campus. Born November 8, 1945 in Cheraw, South Carolina she was the daughter of the late John Skinner and Mattie Skinner

Mary & her husband William Seay owned a local store within their community where they lived.  Mary worked at Eden park for years before she worked as a Home Healthcare Aide for unlimited home care, any time home care & various agencies and also private duty.  Most of the occupations while living in Poughkeepsie NY.

Mary loved the Lord and accepted Christ into her life as her lord and personal savior. Mary is a long time member of the Historic Second Baptist Church of Poughkeepsie NY. Mary sang in the choir, she served as an Usher and also was in charge of the children's sun bean choir.  Mary Served as a faithful member until her health did not permit her to attend church services any more.

Mary is survived by her Uncle Dan Jackson (wife-Elsie Jackson) of South Carolina, her siblings, Johnnie Skinner (wife-Jodi) of Kingston NY Randy Skinner (wife-Juanita) of South Carolina Lila Butler, and Jeanne Austin of Kingston, NY. Daughter Suzie Austin, of Kingston NY. Grandchildren; Jason Seay, (fiancé, Tia Burton) of Kingston NY, Tanea Seay (husband, Kevin Chronister) of Hyde Park NY, and Jamar Jackson, of Tuscan Arizona. William Seay (Quanny) of Poughkeepsie NY. Great grandchildren Jason Seay Jr. & Jalil Ebanks of Kingston NY as well as a host of in-laws, nieces & nephews she is survived by.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband William Seay.
