Mary J. Wells, 85,
of Kingston passed away Monday November 20, 2023 at Ten Broeck Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing. She was born February 25, 1938 in Kingston, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Hilda (Schoonmaker) Wells.
A graduate of the Benedictine School of Nursing, Mary was a registered nurse, working primarily at Ulster County Infirmary for many years. In retirement she worked as a school bus monitor both with First Student and Birnie Bus. She volunteered many years at the Kingston Visitor Center. She loved traveling with her family and friends.
Surviving is her daughter Judith Falcon and her fiancé Richard Ballard, a son Henry Pullman and his wife Laura. Two grandchildren Christina Spindler and her husband Brian and Isaac Falcon and his fiancé Gabrielle Perea, step grandsons Jerry Bogardus, Jr., John Cody and Noah Cody. Greatgrandchildren Bianca, Amaya and Jesse Spindler, Margarita, Isabella and Lexi Falcon, step-great grandchildren Victoria and Jay Bogardus. A brother George Wells, a sister Louise Simpson as well as many nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to her parents, Mary is predeceased by her siblings Kenneth (Butch), Morgan, Martin and Robert (Bobby) Wells. She is predeceased by her husbands William Pullman, Cornelius Dundom, Edward Palladino, and her longtime companion Wally Whispell, as well as son William (Billy) Pullman Jr.
