Family and friends will be received on Wednesday November 22nd from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

A funeral home service will take place at 12:00 PM.

Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Matthew M. Nugent, 35, of Kingston died Tuesday November 7, 2023 at Vassar Brother Medical Center. Born June 23, 1988 in Albany, New York he was the son of the late Jacob and Anna (Arceri) Nugent.

He was a resident of Kingston, graduate of Kingston High School, and participant at ARC of Ulster. To him, ice cream was a food group and he'd often enjoy it with a Disney movie. Throughout his life, he was thoughtful, generous, and helpful to any he might encounter, and he maintained strength and joy in the face of adversity.

Matthew is survived by his sisters Carmen Nugent and Katelynn Nugent, brothers Jacob, Frederick, Roy, Mark, Samuel, and Michael (all Nugent), late brother Anthony McDonald, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles, all of whom he loved greatly.
