Friends and Family will be received at the funeral home on September 16th, 2023 from 3pm-7pm.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday September 17th, 2023 at 11am.
Inurnment will follow at Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.
Michael J. Rougier formerly of Kingston, NY passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 4, 2023. Michael was born on October 23, 2000 in Kingston and he is the son of Joseph E. Rougier Jr. and Tammy-Lynn M. (Williams) Anderson.
Michael graduated from Kingston high school in 2019 and worked locally at Hannaford in the Town of Ulster throughout his school years. Michael moved to Havelock, North Carolina in October 2021 where he worked in the Paint department at Lowe's and will be well-remembered at both job locations.
Michael enjoyed playing video games with his family and friends, watching anime, rollerblading, and recently found a love for drawing. He was self taught and was in the process of making his own comic books and he even had an interest in making his own video game and was designing the characters based on his family members.
Surviving in addition to his father Joseph E. Rougier Jr. and his wife Erin (McKee) Rougier of Havelock, North Carolina. Tammy-Lynn M. (Williams) Anderson and her husband Andy Anderson of Kingston. Michaels siblings Petty Officer Codi Rigatti and her husband Dalton Rigatti of Virginia Beach, Virginia and Jordan Rougier of Kingston and step-siblings Mina Eglit of Poughkeepsie and Amber Eglit of Havelock, North Carolina. Surviving grandparents are Aaron R. Williams Sr. and Diane (Monfett) Williams. He is predeceased by grandparents Joseph E. Rougier Sr. and Donna M. (Murray) Rougier.
