Miguel Angel Ramos-Osorio

Miguel Angel Ramos-Osorio, 89, passed away March 6, 2024 at HealthAlliance Hospital:Mary's Avenue Campus in Kingston. He was born on September 29, 1934 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, one of six children to the late Buenaventura Osorio-Ramos and Bernardo  Rios-Ramos.

He is survived by his siblings Carmen Hernandez (deceased), Bernardo Ramos, Lucy Mojica, Nicolas Ramos and Emilio Ramos. Miguel is also survived by his friends and family at ARC Palmer Center.

Miguel Angel didn't speak much, but he made his wants and needs known. For instance, if he knew you, he would give you his wallet. If he did that, you know he wanted you to buy him a soda or hot coffee. He was always happy to see you and showed it by lavishing you with lots of hugs and kisses. He missed his family and always wanted to take rides with you in the car whenever you came and visited him. He had the best care and treatment from his ARC family where he resided. They managed to make him smile and make him feel loved. Miguel's mother's dying wish was that he was taken care of after she passed. This was a promise that was kept by the youngest of his siblings Emilio Ramos, together with nephew Misael Mojica they were a constant in Miguel's life. They were always attentive to his medical and personal needs and made sure those needs were met. Everyone that he encountered in his life always commented about how kind he was and his gentle demeanor.

He was loved and will be missed. He is at peace. He is now resting in his heavenly home.
