Myron A. Rossi

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday April 10, 2025 from 4pm to 6pm.

A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 10:00 AM. Burial will be at Montrepose Cemetery.

Myron A. Rossi, 95, of Clifton Ave in Kingston passed away at Health Alliance Hospital on April 7, 2025. Born August 22, 1929, he was the son of the late Albert and Ella (Silkworth) Rossi.

Myron was a graduate of Kingston High School class of 1947. He initially started working at the Rossi Music Store and eventually began his career as the proprietor of M. Rossi Power Equipment until his retirement in May 1986. On June 3, 1951, he married  the love of his life: Gwendolyn Longendyke.

Myron was a life member of Musicians Local 215, American Federation of of Musicians. He often played duets with his father at church for holiday services. He also marched in parades and played the lead trumpet at local summer concerts.

In addition to his wife of 74 years, Myron is survived by his son Keith and his wife Fran, his grandsons: Keith Rossi, Jr. (Kristin) and Kevin Rossi, and his great-granddaughters: Mia Rose Rossi and Mackenzie Rossi. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law Eugene "Joe" Longendyke (Patty)  and James Longendyke. Many cousins also survived.

In addition to his parents, Myron is pre-deceased by his daughter Tamara Lee Rossi and his step-father Algot Carlson.
