Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday May 16th from 4-6 PM.
A Nightingale Tribute will take place at 4:30 PM and a period of reflections and sharing will begin at 6 PM.
Nancy L. Gallo , longtime resident of Kingston passed away peacefully Saturday May 10, 2025 with her son at her side. She was born December 26, 1934 in Kingston a daughter of the late Roland B. and Nellie Ray (Brink) Gray.
A graduate of the Kingston Hospital Nursing Academy in 1956, Nancy was a registered nurse who after graduation moved to Florida to work in healthcare for a period of time before returning to Kingston. Locally, Nancy was employed at the Benedictine Hospital in the mental health unit. After her retirement from the hospital setting, she continued her nursing career with employment for Willcare Mobile Mental Health until her family took her off the road. Historically, Mrs. Gallo is the only woman to have both her sons serve as Mayor of the City of Kingston.
Surviving is her son Shayne Gallo, two grandchildren Evan Robert Gallo and Nicole Grace Salazar, great grandchildren Natalia Maria Salazar and Penelope Jasmine Salazar. She was predeceased by her husband T. Robert Gallo, her son Thomas Robert "TR" Gallo, siblings Roland B. Gray and Lola Marie Loudermilk.
